Twardy 2.0 State Of The Game - March 2025


Hello, my name is 99Studios, and you're looking at the first Twardy 2.0 State Of The Game post! Twardy 2.0 State Of The Game is where I talk about what's coming up for Twardy 2.0, what I've/we've accomplished, and any other announcement related to Twardy 2. A couple of major changes are coming to Twardy 2.0 very soon. Instead of score, there is going to be XP, which you can use to level up and (hopefully, if everything goes right,) buy perks.  Also, there is going to be another enemy added to the game, with an improved texture: the Zombie! Zombies will spawn at night, (like the Seed Reaper,) and will do half a heart of damage. Zombies will burn in the daylight until death, but they can still attack you.

Two brand-new songs have been added to the Twardy 2.0 OST: "Playground" and "Too Many Drums"! These two songs have been added to the game to expand the current song library, and to enhance your gameplay experience.

A new Twardy 2.0 devlog is coming soon, when everything in version 0.0.3 is finished. Unlike the previous devlogs, this one will have a voice narrating, and there will be more images & gameplay footage.

On GDevelop Forum, you will be able to vote on a lot of things over the next 1-2 months. You will be able to vote on a new creature that spawns in daylight, a new enemy, more seeds, perks you can buy with XP, VFX, SFX, music and more! Also, on GDevelop Forum, at any time, you can message me anything (positive) about Twardy 2.0 (i.e: features, assets, changes, feedback, etc.). Just know that a response might not happen until 1+ days after you message me.
