Screenshot 20250429170809 (0.0.4) in Twardy 2.0

I'm proud to announce the first screenshot update for Twardy 2.0: Screenshot 20250429170809! This is the first look at update 0.0.4 with new features and quality improvements. I plan to release at least 1-2 more screenshots for v0.0.4 before I release the actual update or a beta version.

Before we go into what's new, I need to explain what screenshot updates are. In case you didn't read the Twardy 2.0 Devlog #3, screenshot updates are basically pre-beta updates; they are highly experimental. In screenshot updates, you will be able to see stats that you wouldn't see in release versions, like the game's current resolution or the current time in-game. Alright, now let's dive into this screenshot update's features.

There are 2 new buttons in the menu: "Leaderboard" and "Reset XP." The Leaderboard button allows you to view the game's leaderboard for XP. The Reset XP button resets your XP if you click it 2 times. For now, it does not give a warning message, so be careful around this button.

When you click on the "Singleplayer" button, it now dosen't immediately send you to the game; instead, it shows a loading scene while you're waiting for the game to load. For now, this dosen't do anything, but when the game's file size gets bigger, it will significantly help.

Mark (the player character) now walks in front of the trees instead of behind them. I implemented this because when I was playing version 0.0.3, I hated how Mark went under the trees and it felt weird.
